Worked example at the default settings: 20 creatives a month, 25% of them 5-second 360p videos, Zeely Starter, no ads launched through Zeely. Zeely costs $29.95/month, or $1.50 per creative. Zeely's own pages describe what happens after the intro price in two different ways, so here are both, each with its source:
- Zeely's plan-change blog post (Feb 10, 2026) says Starter is $29.95 on a trial and “$49.95 after trial period expires”, with Plus moving from $49.95 to $89.95 and Growth from $79.95 to $149.95.
- The Help Center trial article says a trial account “will automatically move to the Growth plan at $79.95 per month”.
- The FAQ on zeely.ai/price says plans start “at $19.99 per month” and that billing can be weekly, monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly, with plans in the app and on the website that “may vary”.
In practice: budget for the listed price, check your renewal email for the rate you will be charged next, and expect app-store prices to differ from the website. No annual price is listed on zeely.ai.
Is Zeely AI free?
No. Zeely AI has no free plan; the app is free to download, but creating ads requires a paid trial or subscription. Trials cost $19.95 for 2 weeks, $29.95 for 4 weeks or $49.95 for 8 weeks, then move to Growth at $79.95/month unless you cancel.
Trials include full access, according to the Zeely Help Center. Zeely's Subscription & Refund Policy says payments are non-refundable except as stated or where the law requires, with no refunds for partial periods. Support reviews refund requests case by case. Cancelling happens in account settings, and uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription. If you only want to test Zeely, set a calendar reminder two days before the trial renews.
For contrast, Pixair AI has a free tier: 30 credits, no card and no expiry, enough for about 7 static ads. Video tools need a paid plan.
What do you actually get per plan?
Today's Zeely plans are credit-based: 2,500, 5,000 or 10,000 credits a month in one shared balance for images, videos and campaigns. Per the Help Center credits article, plan credits reset every cycle, extra credits can be bought and don't reset, edits and regenerations use credits, and failed generations are refunded. Zeely doesn't publish per-action credit rates; they appear in the app under “See rates”.
To turn credits into ads, the best public reference is Zeely's February 2026 blog, written before the credit model. It lists these caps per plan:
- Starter: up to 10 campaigns, 100 static creatives or 8 AI video creatives
- Plus: up to 50 campaigns, 250 static creatives or 12 AI video creatives
- Growth: up to 100 campaigns, 500 static creatives or 21 AI video creatives
Treat those caps as a guide, not a guarantee, because current plans are sold in credits. The paid Booster add-on doubles your plan credits, so Starter with Booster gets 5,000 credits a month.
What hidden costs and limits does Zeely have?
None of these are hidden on purpose, but they live on different Zeely pages, so they are easy to miss when you only look at the plan cards.
A 12% fee if you launch Meta campaigns through Zeely
Zeely's service fee is 12% of ad spend and “applies only to paid campaigns launched through Meta” via Zeely. With Booster it drops to 6%. If you only use Zeely for creatives and run ads in your own Ads Manager, there is no fee.
Booster: $39.95 a year, pays off at about $56/month in spend
Zeely's 2026 pricing guide says “Booster costs $39.95 once a year”, billed in one payment. That is $3.33/month. Cutting the fee from 12% to 6% saves 6% of your spend, so Booster pays for itself once you launch about $56/month of Meta ads through Zeely. It also doubles credits and adds priority support (Help Center).

Trials roll into Growth at $79.95/month per the Help Center, and Zeely's blog lists after-trial rates of $49.95, $89.95 and $149.95. Check which rate your renewal will use before the trial ends.
Non-refundable payments, edits that use credits
Payments are non-refundable except where the law requires, and every edit or regeneration draws from the same credit balance as new ads. Your Meta ad budget is billed separately by Meta, so you will see two charges on your statement.
